Double Dragons officially opened as Barrel Loving, Bad Luck Swordsman (BLS) on September 14, 2003, and at that point was only the fanlisting for Ashton. On March 14, 2006, the name was changed and the shrine portion was added. The URL also changed from http://www.neo-dynasty.com/bls to http://www.neo-dynasty.com/ashton at that time.

Why? The simple reason is that Ashton is one of my absolute favorite characters of all time, in anything. I love his character, I love his character design, I love his seiyuu in the anime, I love his personality, and I think he's one of the most individual, unique RPG characters ever. I was soooo so so happy to run his fanlisting, and wanted to boost it into a shrine to show more love for how awesome he is! ^_^
