Yoshua
Arc's father, who disappeared mysteriously during a storm ten years before the first game. Yoshua is the true king of Palencia, though his brother took over the position during his absense. Yoshua eventually reunites with his son, but meets an untimely death soon after.

Minister Andel
Andel is the shady Minister of Palencia. Though he seems loyal, he discusses events and plans with the Dark One in secret. His true intentions are finally revealed to Arc when Arc witnesses Andel murdering the king (Yoshua's brother), which Andel then blames as Arc's doing. In the second game, Andel is the leader of the Four Generals. Andel finally meets his doom when Arc battles him at the North Pole tower.

General Yagun
One of the Four Generals, who resides over Millmana. A fat bald man with a pet monkey... or is it the other way around?

General Kasadoll
One of the Four Generals, who resides over Zariban. Kasadoll destroys the Saryu Village in search of the key to the Water Shrine, and once finding the key, promptly heads there only to be confronted by Arc (who then promptly kills him).

Chopin
The pilot of the Silver Noah, the airship given to Arc by the King of Palencia. He is a kindly chap, offering helpful advice and rooting Arc on. Despite all of the rumors of Arc killing the King and being a wanted man, Chopin remains faithful and continues to pilot the Silver Noah without a second thought. Good for you, Chopin.

Guardians
Five Guardian forces that protect the world from evil beings. Their power is waning, however, and they need Arc to help restore their power in order to ward off the Dark One and his minions. The Guardians are the Light Guardian, Earth Guardian, Wind Guardian, Water Guardian, and Fire Guardian.
