Kukuru is a young girl of the White Flame Clan. Part of tradition, she is part of an arranged marriage with the crown prince of Palencia, much to her dislike. Promising to help rid her of her obligations, the mayor urges Kukuru to extinguish the beacon on the peak of Mt. Sion, which is lit by the White Flame Clan as another tradition. Upon doing so, an unsettling rumbling occurs and Kukuru soon realises her mistake. She later returns to the mountain with a new flame to light the beacon, only to meet Arc (who offers to light it for her). Soon after these events, she joins up with Arc. Kukuru is an excellent mage, with a variety of handy support and attack spells, and is a decent hand-to-hand fighter to boot.
