  Confound that blasted bedlam!

I think I'll babble here while I update some listings in another window.

My grand two-sided SO2 playthrough had to kinda take a halt for a while, though I'm glad I was able to overcome Ashton's other story boss solo (not without its fair share of hair pulling moments, to be sure) before taking the hiatus. Since my friend the Professor returns later this month, I shall be sure to give him some proper hospitality.

My computer seems to enjoy emitting strong whirring noises while dealing with CDs. More specifically, initially receiving CDs. Loading them or playing them usually involves little to no sound, but the onset always brings out the airguns. Granted, my computer's insides and its supply of settled dust layers probably pales in comparison only to the 5-year-old PS2 around the corner.

I take it there is no Que Sera Sera remix or revamp for "Katamari Tribute" or Forever or For Reals or whatever they choose for localization. I guess that might be for the best, since I would be miffed unless they did it proper justice since the original is pure awesome. I do however hope the other ones turn out well.

Ninjas, VANISH;

I wasn't really worried about you. I was more worried about Godzilla.

There's nothing quite like having an urge to fix some layouts with updated designs only to run full force into an inspirational standstill. Much like Rudy slamming his face into the wall at the Adlehyde Festival while trying to get some Force Carrots. I'm glad I could conjure up an analogy on such short notice.

So if Capcom adds any more characters in that certain versus game I had mentioned in my last post, they'll like make sure it's even on both sides. 5 new characters seem to be popular speculation, except that would kinda invalidate mathematics. I thought the Tatsunoko genie which has been removed was originally 1-upping the "T" side, so to speak; if not, then I suppose 3 new "T" with 2 new "C" picks would make sense. Regardless, I don't care about the number as long as they put in GOOD PICKS. And maybe toss in some alternate costumes or something, like a Ken Masters skin for Ryu. Sorry, Ryu.

In the interest of making things... interesting, I'm having Ashton solo-run through the Mountain Palace and the Laguss Mountains. Make him do his own work for his cure, or something. I'm telling ya, despite being quite familiar with the overall game mechanics, trying to beat down this wench solo is was a supreme exercise in frustration. [Right before posting this, I was able to seize the wins. One more addition to Cooking Knife and getting very lucky with a critical peep helped lots. Ain't that HP count sumthin', too.] XINE will just be loads and loads of fun.

In parting, I hope Toho gets out that super-duper rumored 2014 Gojira movie. I need more massive monster mayhem.

Let's get OUTTA here,

You're always good for a chuckle, Christian Bale Batman voice impersonator man. Thanks much, you Oregon scientists.

I think it's pretty pointless to mention how extremely untimely this blog is. Easily put into perspective: the movies I'm blogging about in my last entry have all finished their run in theatres and have been released in home video... for some good months now. I'm happy to say that I won't be returning to theaters again, unless I'm overlooking something, until a Shirefolk (Shirefellow?) goes adventuring for the first of two outings, and the dawn gets treaded.

Updates, updates... well, I made a long overdue dragon less ashen and progressed gradually on a few others. I've verily learned my lesson with promising dates and timeframes... I'm thinking they should be some Sony joke I can throw in here, but I'm at a loss now.

E3 is super close now, and I can't wait for the return to form. Which may or may not truly happen even if it is big(ger) again. In any case, if the past is any indication, the press conferences should either be great or embarassingly hilarious. Plus Capcom's already bringing the goods with the Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom localization announcement. If they manage to get the rights to and the means of adding Go Mifune/Speed in there, I'd be so very pleased. Also, despite having the odds against it, please reuse old dub Tekkaman soundclips. SPACE LANCE!

Hey dog, gimme TEN.

Sweet mercy, it's been quite a while. I could have sworn I had gotten one in after December. Well, no matter.

I hope everybody is awaiting Mega May Movie Month, or whatever other moniker you care to give. I'm not really pumped for Indy the 4th, truth be told. Thinking more along the lines of "in a couple of months, if there's some sort of [decent] film drought". I will however probably check out Speed Racer just to see Matthew Fox car-hop-and-punch a guy in the face, and my friend Prrrince Casp’an for faux Spanish accents, even though the Dawn Treader is more of my thing.

I'll finish up and keep it short this time around, since I'm counting on dropping in again soon. Much sooner than the time .... that is, the times before.

You know, I think Google's next April Fool's joke should be a finalized release of Gmail. Except every time you try to log in, you get some big ERROR CANNOT COMPUTE message. Then the next day, they put up a "HAHA WE GOT YOU FOOLED THIS IS EXTREMELY HILARIOUS" splash page and slap that bitch back to BETA.

And signed.......... oh, "Long Arrow"

So much stuff... happening. o__o Desperately trying to get some sort of secondary income... maybe I can whip out a novel, promise a trilogy, later promise a sextology, and gain my fortune through means of frighteningly devoted nerds. HAY I'LL MAKE IT FANTASEE, DA BOOKS SELL DA MOONIES rollolf

Which reminds me, I got a copy and finished reading Smith of Wooton Major recently. I rather enjoyed it. A bit scarce on the adventures in Faery, but otherwise well put together and easy reading. In terms of non-Middle-Earth Tolkien, I would say Roverandom > Farmer Giles > Smith, but not by much. I have a feeling that if I get around to reading Letters to Father Christmas, I would get a pretty big kick out of it, what with the comical polar bear and its mishaps. Oh-ho, jolly.

So I'm planning on transforming PF into a mini-fansite, which would allow for my brand new layout to not be an utter waste. Heh... heheh.... hoo. I had considered something similar for the Dragon Ash fanlisting, but I'll see how one fansite goes, since my past attempts have crumbled faster than a huge, crumbly.... cookie. o__. Yes.

Last thing: LOOLOL it's SoniKku. I actually don't mind the delay, since I'm struck for cash as is. But like, forget the delay! He can spin dash and... bounce off springs! Lots are calling for Megaman to be the "final" third-party, but personally, Jack from Harvest Moon would be dynamic. A Final Smash filled with carnage, mayhem, a horde of enraged cows, and perhaps the dreaded HM64 monsoon would obliterate the competition. Between him and a possible Animal Crosser, I'm set. :D

Goodby~e, goodby~e, baaaayby, (y'know, y'know, y'know, y'know, you gotta go)

Woo doggies, lotsa stuff has been goin' on. Days without internet, money management, sale shopping... lots of fun and joy. If that wasn't enough, I've been keeping busy with updating and revamping my sites most dearly in need of ..... updates and a revamp. I'M WORKING ON STUFF AND NOT PROCRASTINATING? CALL THE BRUTE SQUAD.

Let me see now.... loooong overdue makeover for Star Ocean games (hmm, needs more GLITTER and GLAM, honies), I think next was a new roTEHtion, then it was Beautiful Star's time to shine (oh lawle), wouldn't want to overlook my brand new fanlisting collective, and lastly I've got a new KD layout and Paper Faces V2 currently in-the-works. But wait! I've also set a worldwide planned release of 2007 for new versions of House of Velocity, Power of the Afro, Rhythmic (dones), and Samurai Heart! Don't worry, these will all stay exclusive and won't be ported to any console for our monetary benefit.... I guarantee it!™

edit [10.13.2007] : Just like any true competitor in today's marketplace, I have delayed the release of several site makeovers INDEFINITELY. But not, really. If I had to say something, I would say we are currently aiming for a Q1 2008 release. Granted, there may be complications with the real-time weapon change and massive castle assault sequences. At least I got up Rhythmic. <___<

So now that you've been SMASHED by the wall-of-text above, I think I'll close off with some other smashing news. Top three best news updates are easily the Animal Crossing stage + Saturday bonus, Naruke's pwnsome OoT medley, and Captain Falcon. Wait, Falcon hasn't been in an update yet. Whatever. The important thing is that he will most assuredly Falcon PUNCH the globe as his Final Smash.

See you next time,

Adventures in Data Loss, and Repercussions Thereof (Foreword)
11/04/2007 ... 6:50pm

Turns out there was a recent sibling harddrive complication. Despite my track record of utterly crushing the window one external and one internal drive, we were actually able to retrieve data without any unfortunate ... unfortunaties. Hooray hoorah and whatfor.

I'm so out of money my mind everything. I used to have quite a good focus, but now I find myself a lot less aware. Like, practically dangerously so. Zoning out while eating isn't good. Zoning out while driving isn't good. Zoning out while sleeping isn't, well, particularly bad or good, but it is kind of weird. Electro-shock methods and pep pills for me!

Just realized this is the first entry since the new year. So Hippy Pathy Too Thowsend Sefin. Also Happy Easter, have some Nintentastic chick warfare. Those fujucking balloons kept screwing over my men. I DREW THAT SANDBAG CORRECTLY, DON'T GIVE ME THAT "BE MORE PRECISE" NONSENSE. Oh yeahs, and I've just crawled out from under my metaphorical boulder and checked out the new Warbears mission. Pretty good, just pay attention and use your cubs for all they're worth. Awaiting the climatic third installment, and YOU SHOULD, TOO.

Really now, mark your calendar,

ICE ICE BABY
18/12/2006 ... 8:00pm

Dipped down to 38° last night... which is mightily dem cold enough for me. Almost makes me want to fill up a pail of water, chuck it outside, and see if it'll freeze. <_<

So, funny story. While trying to obtain a Christmas tree, we pulled up next to a lot and heard a loud ribbit. Now, I've heard of those lively treefrogs, but I was under the impression you could find them mostly in, I dunno, a tropical rainforest. We tried to lure it out, but sadly I could not push and shove my neck enough to recreate the proper sound, so we departed frog-sightingless. Just kind of wierd.

Anyway, hope you all have merry Christmases and happy New Years and, to any of you lucky individuals unwrapping new PS3s, make sure to cook yourself a merry meal. >_>
