while listening to: Japanese Modernist - Merry Whee~!! I got a whole crapload of stuff in the mail between last blog and this one, including my CDs to help me learn Japanese (yay! Nihon-go ga wakarimasu ka?), a super-cool hoodie, and my newest baby, my wittle graphics tablet ^_____^ (my other baby is my iPod, fyi). I'm so excited about my little tablet, it has already brought me so much joy (and new free programs!) and love and happiness. I'll post up some of the things I draw later on, and inbetween drawings, I'm attempting fonts and brush sets, which will be up at Stardrop whenever I... well, whenever I get them up. ^_^; In other news... let's see. Damn, I was going to mention something, but totally forgot it -_-; Argh.... erm.... got Yaki3? No... (well, I DID get it, but that's not what I was gonna mention) Uh, strange dream... OH yeah! The Symphonic briefcase issue. Brace thineselves... well, not really. So, when I log into the Yahoo!Briefcase to rotate the songs for Symphonic, there is a noticable change... the "Symphonic Music" folder is... empty, and the "My Documents" folder has one song (definitely not mine) that I didn't even read the name of before I deleted it. I got pretty pissed. But then took a deep breath (actually several, and went to beat a Taiko Drum for a while) and just rotated the songs with an apology to anyone who wanted the last songs but couldn't get them because of someone's hilarious prank. So, there you have it. Gonna go eat something now and then start on the beauty that is No Eyed Jack and Benny (©2004 to us dammit, don't steal it). Later.

while listening to: Get the Girl - The Go-Gos Yay, the new layout for Stardrop is up, along with as many avatars as I've currently made. Took a little break to watch some election news and Home Alone 2 (which happened to be on, and which I happen to love) along with eating. Going to upload the new Symphonic rotation now, so YAY for double uploads! Then, after that, I'll probably make... more avatars. Yep. I just love doing it so much. Whee! Ciao babes!

while listening to: In The Air - Laruku So, I lied. The avatar center isn't going to be its own site, and neo-dynasty.com/rock isn't going to be anything... for the time being. I realized that I'd probably get more traffic and generally there would be an easier job for me if I just put the avatars as a part of Stardrop. Don't bother looking for them now though, they aren't up. I'm gonna work on a new Stardrop layout (that doesn't have to have 2 versions o_O) and put up the avatars I have with the layout. I'll let you know. Layout work will be done later tonight, in between playing some good ol' Taiko Drum Masta, teh yay. And FYI, the 0.2% finally finished. And it was well worth it- Ken in Germany, "Making Of" many Laruku PVs, Tetsu throwing a banana peel on the ground and some guy slipping on it, simply good stuff. Yay. Going now to play. Ciao.

while listening to: Jiyuu He No Shoutai - Laruku Have I mentioned that Halloween is my least favorite holiday? Yeah. I was traumatized as a child. I think it's pointless. Bring on Thanksgiving and Christmas! Ahaha, that's kind of funny. Y'know those Laruku funny things I was waiting for in the last blog? Well, one of them finished... (Hyde and Ken on Matthew's Best Hit Show! Hyde rammed giant bowling pins with his head! And sang karaoke with a plastic pink mic! Precious memories, I tell you) But, strangely enough... the other is still going. Yes, that's right. Currently at someting around 99.7%... -____-; *smacks non-seeders* Dammit people! COME ON! 0.3%?!? Sheesh. I've been busyish... well, basically I've been keeping myself from boredom by making avatars. Jrock star avatars, to be exact. And I'm planning on opening up a Jrock avatar center, right here on Neo-Dizzle. Yepper. The URL (for your future reference) is going to be http://www.neo-dynasty.com/rock. I'll link it and plug madly once I get it up, don't worry. Currently I've got a bunch of Gackt avatars (I swear, he must do nothing but perform, sleep, and go on photo shoots, there are so many damn pictures of him out there o_O), some mildly-humorous Tetsu avatars (I love you Tet-chan, but sadly you are not teh sexy-beast-idol that Gackt and Hyde have embraced), and some random Yuki/Ken/Tetsu avatars with Laruku stuff and other humor on them. And, to add, a whole crapload of Hyde avatars, because Hyde is my JRSILF (like a MILF, but with JRock Star at the beginning... you get the picture), and many more Hyde avatars to come. It's also gonna have a request form, so you all (or any of you) can request avatars with special pictures/stars/lyrics/screennames, whatever. Like that. So yay. In other news... I'm not actually feeling rakish or rowdy. I just like those two adjectives. Rakish like Little Joe and rowdy like Pura. Teh yay. This just in, I made a decision about the graphics tablet vs. scanner issue: tablet wins. Why? Well, because in all honesty, I don't own enough stuff that I want/need to scan to make the scanner really useful. The only things I would scan would be drawings, but I can just oeka-like them in Photoshop instead. So, yeah. Graphics tablet soon. I also ordered a really cool CD-lesson-kit thing that claims I'll learn Japanese in a total of 45 hours of lessons... which should be pretty damn sweet. I hope it works, I really really do, because that would just fugging rock and then I could like... blog in (elementary) Japanese. XD XD ecksdee. Ok, gonna go now and- WHAT THE HELL!? 0.2% left, GIVE ME A BREAK... ... Going to... eat some candy or something. Yeah.

while listening to: Through the Years and Far Away - Hoshi no Koe So yeah, trying to get 2 Laruku video/appearance/funny things, and have a crappy download rate... seed people, seed! Had a scare last night where my iPod froze... and I thought it was dead... but then I woke up this morning and fixed it all up XD In other news, WE DID IT! Figured it out! We can now edit our iTunes skins all we want! BWAHAHAHAHAHA, ha. So now, this is what my iTunes looks like:

Aaaannnddd... let's see. I'm trying to decide whether to get a graphics tablet (that comes with Photoshop Elements, Corel Paint and a wireless mouse) or a scanner (that comes with Photoshop Elements) when I finally get money. I technically have enough to get both, but I want to be picky and choosy and not kill ALL my spending at once. Y'know, like I usually do... o_O Plus, I have a bigger list of other stuff I want to get, including some apparel offline and possibly either the YST boxset (yay!) or the Trigun boxset (yay!). So yeah. You see the choices I have to make? LIFE-ALTERING, I tell you.
Damn, my HTML file just overstepped its bounds. No, it didn't punch me. It got too full. I add link now to 'part 2' of blog, down at the bottom there. See it? Yay. Good on ya, mate.
Oh yeah, and it would be fugging cool to go to NY for Thanksgiving and see Steve Irwin in the Macy's TGD Parade. Rock. Ecksdee.

while listening to: Battlecry - Samurai Champloo Decided that my last blog was too depressing, so I got rid of it ^_^; Anyway, let's discuss Samurai Champloo and how it is the new thing that rocks the house. Mugen is decidedly like the boy, and Jin is like me. It's fun. Except the boy and I don't fight, but we do 'battle' occassionally, so it's all good. And, since I love Jin so damn much, I have created a new wallpaper (I know, gomen to Laruku, but I had to get rid of it sometime... you are missed, Laruku!) featuring Jin. Yay for badass, calm, intelligent samurai! Rock on. And get this- yesterday, not only did I get to watch Champloo (ep's 2-4), but also ep 2 of Yaki! And you know what that means... KUROYAN-KOI! And that means Koyasu-sama! XD to that. It rocked. Kuroyan's reaction was fabu, and Suwabara is teh pwn. Slicing that bread with his katana rolling pin. Heh. Gotta go finish some reading for my new entertainment class, then go out and buy a newspaper for same said class... part of our homework. And while I'm out, gonna stop by Ru's to give him the 2 kick-ass CDs I made for him and check out his new room/meet his new roomies. Should be good fun, so long as (1) I get my homework done when I get back and (2) it doesn't decide to downpour while I'm out. Since the weather seems to be freaky and whimsical like that. o_O Ok, better go do homework. Enjoy the Jin-ness of the small thumbnail.

while listening to: Hiji Suru STYLE - Samurai Champloo Ok, so I just watched the video of the Honey live performance/interview with Hyde and Ken. I must summarize for you. Hyde and Ken bust in the door, looking badass, Hyde carrying a guitar, Ken carrying a tambourine. They immediately launch into the verse of Honey, with the two girl hosts (? o_O) singing with them. After they finish the song, Hyde gives one of the hosts the guitar (!!!) and Ken gives the other 2 CD players, presumably gifts. After the thanking, they have a little talk, where Ken-chan gets lots of laughs (btw, I love his floor-length leopard faux-fur coat XD). Then, for some unknown reason, they play a game where they have to get mushrooms out of a claw-machine, and Iron Chef Michiba is waiting to fix them food (assumedly with whatever they get out of the machine). Hyde scores big the first time, as does one of the hosts, but Ken and the other host get nothing. Hyde gets a miniscule leaf/dried out mushroom on try 2 (and looks at it rather incredulously), first host scores again, Ken almost gets a big one but misses, second host gets one. Hyde, in a move of sympathy, gives Ken-chan the dried out leaf thing. Then they eat, Ken pointing out that a cruddy little spot of sauce was all that Michiba could make out of his 'prize'. Then, they cut to a scene of the movie- they are going to reinact it. They practice once with the script, then "perform" (complete with cool filters and costume changes). However, Hyde's supposed to shoot Ken twice, but runs out (?) of 'bullets', so he just says "BANG!" really loud (and then almost cracks up, hehe XD). After "the end" plays, Ken complains that only one of the little fake-blood-capsule things that were on his shirt exploded because of Hyde's "BANG!", so Hyde 'shoots' him again (saying "BANG!" again as well as the shot sound effect), the capsule explodes, and Ken starts dancing around singing "Genki~~~..." (I was almost to tears laughing). So, in short, Hyde's badass, Ken has a great coat, why was Michiba there? Hyde you are so good at claw machines and acting, and Ken-chan is uber genki. Thank you, good night. Er, morning.
