feeling: totally energized and psyched
while listening to: You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC MUAHAHAHAHAHA, I am SO in a great mood. Now is the time for you, my loyal blog readers and followers, to realize what exactly it is that makes me less than perfect. I mean, at the moment you all know I'm perfect, so here's the catch you've all been waiting for: When I get excited about something (anything, really), I mean really excited, I launch myself immediately and completely into whatever it is. Tonight (er, this morning I suppose) is a prime example. At around 1 this morning, I couldn't sleep. So, I get up. Randomly, phone rings. It's my mum. She's up (my family keeps weird hours together, it seems XD) and wants to know what I need for my trip (which has turned from a road-trip to just a plain-ol trip, planes and such). I, for one, can't believe she's asking me this. I mean, granted there are only like... 8 days? 9 days? left until we'd be leaving, but still. Mum and Pop are funding this... like, completely. So I, without even thinking, launch myself right into my "trip-taking mode". Meaning what, you ask? Meaning that I... 1. Started making lists at that moment. I even had a pen and notebook nearby. It's as if my subconcsious knew I'd be doing this.
2. Started mentally packing my suitcase.
3. Discussed everything I needed to buy with my mum.
4. Planned a shopping date to get the stuff I need to buy.
5. Discussed plane fare, dates, times, arrivals and departures and pickups (since I'd need to get picked up and everything). Then, once I got off the phone, I was (a) totally awake, (b) totally psyched about the trip, (c) completely energized, and (d) completely motivated to do what I do best: ORGANIZATION.
Now, reading this and even knowing me, people might think I'm not an organized person. And that's true, I'm not an organized person. However, I am the BEST when it comes to actually organizing. So, in short, if you can *get* me to be motivated, I am the most organized person you will ever meet. So. Running into my room, I launched into my "get this done right" mode. My bed had piles of my clothes, organized by "style" (tank top, t-shirt, cap-sleeve, long-sleeve, 3/4-sleeve, outerwear, jacket, hoodie/zip-up, blouse, sweater/sweatshirt, long pants, shorts, skirts- yes I'm that anal about it), color, whether or not they fit me and whether or not I'd want to bring it. You see, one of my few character flaws is that I tend to bring too much stuff (make that WAY too much stuff) with me when I know I'm not going to be gone for that long. In this case, I probably have enough for 2 weeks, and I'll be gone for 3 days. o_O Regardless. Once that was organized, I had to clean out my suitcase, which was pretty much being used for storage (I have too many clothes, I admit it), and then I swapped all that stuff for the stuff I wanted to pack. The other thing is that I ALWAYS buy stuff on trips, and never have anywhere to put it since I fill the suitcases so damn full in the beginning. Somehow, even keeping in mind that I shouldn't pack that much for only a few days, I still filled the damn suitcase to the brim. :\ Hmm... I obviously need another bag to put stuff in. Duffel, perhaps. Shall shop for it. Ok, I've been rambling. Too much energy. Gonna go... uh, do something now. Maybe exercise, haven't done that in... well, I don't really know. Anyway. Might as well use energy when I've got it! XD Ta! EDT @ 5:01 - I forgot to say that I got the Blind Target fanlisting up and finished. A while ago, already. It's HERE. :) Bye!

Boy's still on it... I think he's been living here for weeks now. Sleeps on the couch... when he sleeps, that is. I'm gonna boot him off my GCN now and play... then sleep. G'night.

I got waaaaay ahead of the boy in ToSymph, so he's catching up while I laze around online, trying to find more Yellowcard, because I love them. Surfing Delias.com, filling in my wishlist so the 'rents can buy me all the shoes that I want for my upcoming(ish) birthday XD XD Ah, shoes... and clothes... I love shopping! Y__Y Aaaannd... Yatta is a fantabulous song, heheheh. Now I'm onto Yellow Machinegun, meh. I've also got $50 to waste on something, but I'm debating between a bunch of things. I could do the responsible thing and save it until our road trip to spend, and save my daddy a *little* money, or I could spend it now... here's what I'm contemplating purchasing: 1. a Wavebird, so I can play ToS in more comfort or 2. CDs of all shapes and sizes, including Laruku, Yellowcard, or I Love The 70s/80s/90s. I could probably also buy clothes or a cheapish pair of shoes, which tugs at me, too. So, yeah. I'll update y'all whenever I make a decision. Because I know you're all dying to know what I choose. Because I'm awesome and sensei-like like that. So, until next time. BYE-Q! XD

while listening to: fan making noise So my dream last night leads me to believe that I was somehow drunk or on crack... though neither is true nor possible. It was something about going to the city with a random pizza guy that I met while ordering pizza (he was really cute though, hmm) and then something happened where I turned into Colette (that's right, from Tales of Symphonia) and talked to Maggie Smith (who makes recurring appearances in my dreams, it seems) about helping my friend who was cursed as a pumpkin. o___O One of my stranger dreams, I must say. Although I much prefer the one where Maggie Smith data drained Chad Michael Murray XD And nooo, not just because he's hot and he was mostly nekkid. o_O Quiet you! Took this quiz...

while listening to: Milky Way - P'UNK EN CIEL ... I COULD complain more about Earthlink... but I won't. Not now. Probably later. Soooo... oh, right. The blog title. It's a vague reference to Tales of Symphonia, because the Psycho Bear is from Yatta! and there's a Yata Mirror in ToSymph. And ToSymph is addicting. I could seriously have been a crack addict for years, got the game, and given up crack in favor of it. It is THAT addicting. The other half of the title refers to my psychic/psycho abilities... because I was washing my face this morning (well, technically afternoon, since I woke up at like... 3 o_O) and I (for some random reason) thought about the part of the George of the Jungle movie (with Brendan Frasier) where Ape says "cold compress, dab her lightly" etc., and though about digging around and finding and watching that movie, because I love that movie. So then I go out and start channel surfing while munching on an egg-salad sandwich (yummy ^_^), and guess what's playing on the Disney Channel? Yepper, George of the Jungle. Now, you can claim it was coincidence... you can claim I'm some sort of freak for thinking of random things like George of the Jungle while washing my face. Well, you know what, I'm just cool like that. And I had the biggest crush on Brendan Frasier when that movie came out, so I remember it veeeeerry well. And I just love that movie, so NYAA ^_~ And, currently, I'm trying to get the song 'Dela' (Johnny Clegg) from the movie. (It's the one that plays when they dance around the bonfire, I love that scene XD) I'm also currently on my... seventh time trying to get this, since it's just about 5 MB and Earthlink keeps CUTTING MY CONNECTION OFF... *huff huff* Much frustration, you see. In other news, probably going to change my desktop soonish... I want to make a Lij bg, but I just don't think I can do his prettiness justice. I'd also attempt to make a Dom one, but... well, same reason. I do have several Lij desktops already, though, so I might as well just take a pic of him and tile it... XD XD XD I swear, I want to marry him. while listening to: Toxic - Britney Spears I WANTED TO BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE INTERNET EVERY 2.5 MINUTES! Oh wait, no. That's just what happens to be going on. ¬_____¬ Honestly, it's now 10:24. Since 10:10, I have been disconnected over 10 times. That's almost a disconnection every minute. Not fun when (1) I'm posting on GameFAQs and have to keep loggin in after being disconnected, (2) trying to download songs, (3) trying to check my email, which I then have to quit and restart every time the internet dies, and (4) trying to upload things to NDcom via FTP, which also keeps dying. Not cool, Earthlink, not cool. Now, don't get me wrong. Earthlink does an excellent job with domain hosting, customer service, data transfer, etc. NDcom's downtime is miniscule. However, before Earthlink's dialup service, we had RCN. We were never, EVER disconnected like this- the only incidences I can think of were flukes where someone would call and it would ring through to the phone while we were online, thus terminating the connection. This happened... oh, maybe 4 times through the couple of years we were subscribers. It's just.... argh, sooo frustrating to have this thing hang up OVER and OVER and OVER... *sigh* On another note, I simply cannot choose between Kratos and Zelos in ToSymphonia. I'm honestly going to flip a coin, because I love them both. Well, I love Kratos in a you're-a-Dias-type-broody-bishi-who's-a-seraph way, and I love Zelos in an OMG-you-ish-teh-hawt-pimp-I-lurve-you way. So, whether my brooding fangirl side will win over my hot guy fangirl side (well, damn, Kratos is hawt too... see the dilemma?!) remains to be seen. Will post updates once I choose. So, yeah, needed to rant about that. More lata, baii! EDT @ 10:51 - And that makes over 20 'connection terminated's. -__-;

while listening to: Wherever You Are - Winnie the Pooh Awwww, this song is so sweet and sad. I like this movie, even though I love the original movies (eg The Many Adventures) much better. But I DID think that this song would make for a great songfic. I'm thinking Vash x Meryl, since (a) that's what I've been reading most recently and (b) they're one of my most favorite anime couples in the world ^_^ Yeah, we'll see. Maybe I'll do that, if I get bored enough, heh ^_^; Still feel like a roasted turkey... slow, painstakingly roasted, that is. I'm seriously going to buy a box, fill it with ice bags, and sit in it. Then, once the ice melts, I go buy more ice and sit in it again. Rinse and repeat. That outta help... or freeze my bum to death, whichever comes first. In other news, Tales of Symphonia found to be impossibly addicting. while listening to: Stomp Dance - Brulé Daaaaaaamn it's really hot here right now. The boy, on suggestion, has stayed over. We got a second controller (yay!) so we've been playing SSBM and some 2-player ToSymph with teh mad combos. It's fun. Anyway, changed zee desktop. This one's so lovely, I'm so proud of myself for making it right and not overdoing it. I think that tends to be my problem, I'd rather have "full" wallpapers than empty looking ones, but I end up crowding them and they look sloppy. o_O; Anyway this one's all neat n' pretty ^_^ I also made this one yesterday, but I didn't put it up yet, so I'll just put the thumbnail here for y'all to squint at XD. It's so prettyful, and I want to make millions and millions of layouts. Yet I have no scanner... ¬__¬; SO. while listening to: the boy talking So the boy's over here to abuse my GCN... er, rather my GCN controllers. Tales of Symphonia came out yesterday. Yesterday we went into the city for Red's bday, it was awesomely cool, but we had to walk pretty much everywhere, so my feet hurt like a bitch yesterday when I got home, and I think I walked my hip outta its socket o_O Yow. Anyway, she had a great time, which was the idea, and Nat ended up giving her a Tiffany's necklace that she wanted but he didn't even know she wanted. Pretty nice, eh? That's boyfriend points right there. Uh, so yeah. Anyway. Oh, get this. While we were in the city, we passed an EB Games. So I went in and asked about ToSymphonia, and at the city's EB, when you preordered the game you got both the lithograph AND the artbook, right then. We (the boy and I) didn't get a litho at our EB because they were "out". And he didn't get an artbook yesterday, either, because there was a "shipping error". Riiiiiight. If they don't give me... well, technically it's the boy's but I'm going to be using it more (scans, people, large quality scans.), I'm seriously going to storm in and demand it, and beat up the general manager if he doesn't give it to me. Yeah. That'll show him. Ok, well I need to eat something now, I'm starved. Then off to watch the PWNSOME ANIME OPENING of ToSymphonia.

while listening to: A View From Above - TOKIO Dammit, two things happened that have happened before. One was that I selected all and went to the bottom of my html blogging doc, which I always do. Gets annoying. The other thing is that the damn blog doc got too big again (guess I'm blogging more than usual?), so now this is normal shows-up-on-main-page blog, and there's BLOG PART 2 CONTINUED down below. Or that link, either one. Today's been... an interesting day. I really wish I had a bf like Nat, because I called him and he went off on how he would spend any amount of money on Red's gift (and I was all AWWW) and he has a plan now to get an expensive necklace and hide it in some roses for her (and I was all AWWWWW!), and then I got off the phone and I was all sniffle sniffle I have no boyfriend mode. So, I did what I usually do to cheer up, go shopping.
Shopping today = disaster. First, nothing's on sale. Second, even if things WERE on sale, nothing fit me today. Guys reading this may be like WHUUH? but girls reading know that some days stuff fits, other days it doesn't. Well, today was a doesn't-day, so I got all mopey and got to thinking I need to diet, yada yada, and started complaining to everybody I could, really, about how I was fat and nothing fit me. Well, I'm not fat, but stuff doesn't fit me because (1) I had a bad shopping day and (2) because I try on stuff that I shouldn't even expect to fit me, because I actually have hips, God forbid. ;P
So, then I get home, decide I'm going to order some pizza and snuggle down to watch a good, classic movie, something along the lines of Star Wars, either New Hope or RotJ. I realize the pizza place is closed, I've missed about 20 calls on my cell because it's fritzing (one of which from my sis), and I can't find the movies I want to watch. I figure, I'll get online and see what's going on, maybe that will calm me down a bit.
Online, three people joined fanlistings. One= No code at all. Another= Made a code (I get touchy when people step over my graphic skillz, ok?) and was a main.html-page-linker. Third= Made a code. IS THIS THE DAY TO SHUN SORA'S CODE MAKING SKILLS OR SOMETHING?!? DID YOU NOT LIKE THE CODES THAT WERE THERE?! WAS THERE NOT ENOUGH VARIETY FOR YOU TO CHOOSE FROM?!?!?! And then my brother called me to complain, then the blog was too long, and somewhere around now I'm seriously about to lose an eyeball since my eye is twitching so much. BREATHE... slow deep breaths... I think I might play some more AWL. Perhaps I may level up some more in mutation before we actually get outbreak. I could also make Red her CD, part of her gift. And then I could make some more bracelets/necklaces, I made some last night that were rather prettyful. There, all activities I know I CAN do that don't seem stressful, really. Thank thee, blog and blog readers, for bearing through this experience with me. Off to de-stress, relax, breathe and engage in some other stressless activities of the like.

while listening to: fan making noise So my dream last night leads me to believe that I was somehow drunk or on crack... though neither is true nor possible. It was something about going to the city with a random pizza guy that I met while ordering pizza (he was really cute though, hmm) and then something happened where I turned into Colette (that's right, from Tales of Symphonia) and talked to Maggie Smith (who makes recurring appearances in my dreams, it seems) about helping my friend who was cursed as a pumpkin. o___O One of my stranger dreams, I must say. Although I much prefer the one where Maggie Smith data drained Chad Michael Murray XD And nooo, not just because he's hot and he was mostly nekkid. o_O Quiet you! Took this quiz...

while listening to: Milky Way - P'UNK EN CIEL ... I COULD complain more about Earthlink... but I won't. Not now. Probably later. Soooo... oh, right. The blog title. It's a vague reference to Tales of Symphonia, because the Psycho Bear is from Yatta! and there's a Yata Mirror in ToSymph. And ToSymph is addicting. I could seriously have been a crack addict for years, got the game, and given up crack in favor of it. It is THAT addicting. The other half of the title refers to my psychic/psycho abilities... because I was washing my face this morning (well, technically afternoon, since I woke up at like... 3 o_O) and I (for some random reason) thought about the part of the George of the Jungle movie (with Brendan Frasier) where Ape says "cold compress, dab her lightly" etc., and though about digging around and finding and watching that movie, because I love that movie. So then I go out and start channel surfing while munching on an egg-salad sandwich (yummy ^_^), and guess what's playing on the Disney Channel? Yepper, George of the Jungle. Now, you can claim it was coincidence... you can claim I'm some sort of freak for thinking of random things like George of the Jungle while washing my face. Well, you know what, I'm just cool like that. And I had the biggest crush on Brendan Frasier when that movie came out, so I remember it veeeeerry well. And I just love that movie, so NYAA ^_~ And, currently, I'm trying to get the song 'Dela' (Johnny Clegg) from the movie. (It's the one that plays when they dance around the bonfire, I love that scene XD) I'm also currently on my... seventh time trying to get this, since it's just about 5 MB and Earthlink keeps CUTTING MY CONNECTION OFF... *huff huff* Much frustration, you see. In other news, probably going to change my desktop soonish... I want to make a Lij bg, but I just don't think I can do his prettiness justice. I'd also attempt to make a Dom one, but... well, same reason. I do have several Lij desktops already, though, so I might as well just take a pic of him and tile it... XD XD XD I swear, I want to marry him. while listening to: Toxic - Britney Spears I WANTED TO BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE INTERNET EVERY 2.5 MINUTES! Oh wait, no. That's just what happens to be going on. ¬_____¬ Honestly, it's now 10:24. Since 10:10, I have been disconnected over 10 times. That's almost a disconnection every minute. Not fun when (1) I'm posting on GameFAQs and have to keep loggin in after being disconnected, (2) trying to download songs, (3) trying to check my email, which I then have to quit and restart every time the internet dies, and (4) trying to upload things to NDcom via FTP, which also keeps dying. Not cool, Earthlink, not cool. Now, don't get me wrong. Earthlink does an excellent job with domain hosting, customer service, data transfer, etc. NDcom's downtime is miniscule. However, before Earthlink's dialup service, we had RCN. We were never, EVER disconnected like this- the only incidences I can think of were flukes where someone would call and it would ring through to the phone while we were online, thus terminating the connection. This happened... oh, maybe 4 times through the couple of years we were subscribers. It's just.... argh, sooo frustrating to have this thing hang up OVER and OVER and OVER... *sigh* On another note, I simply cannot choose between Kratos and Zelos in ToSymphonia. I'm honestly going to flip a coin, because I love them both. Well, I love Kratos in a you're-a-Dias-type-broody-bishi-who's-a-seraph way, and I love Zelos in an OMG-you-ish-teh-hawt-pimp-I-lurve-you way. So, whether my brooding fangirl side will win over my hot guy fangirl side (well, damn, Kratos is hawt too... see the dilemma?!) remains to be seen. Will post updates once I choose. I made this yesterday... entirely my idea, done in Vue and the 'shop. I called if Firefly Glen... I dreamed about this cool little glen a couple of times, so I recreated looking up at the moon through the trees from inside the little glen ^_^ Didn't want to change the desktop just yet, though, since I still love my Magna Carta one, so I'm just putting up another thumbnail for y'all to look at. while listening to: Wherever You Are - Winnie the Pooh Awwww, this song is so sweet and sad. I like this movie, even though I love the original movies (eg The Many Adventures) much better. But I DID think that this song would make for a great songfic. I'm thinking Vash x Meryl, since (a) that's what I've been reading most recently and (b) they're one of my most favorite anime couples in the world ^_^ Yeah, we'll see. Maybe I'll do that, if I get bored enough, heh ^_^; Still feel like a roasted turkey... slow, painstakingly roasted, that is. I'm seriously going to buy a box, fill it with ice bags, and sit in it. Then, once the ice melts, I go buy more ice and sit in it again. Rinse and repeat. That outta help... or freeze my bum to death, whichever comes first. In other news, Tales of Symphonia found to be impossibly addicting. I think Lloyd needs to make it onto my list of favorite video game guys, I love how Kratos is so broodtastically bishi, and Zelos is teh pimp, want glomp much XD Annnd... not much else to say. while listening to: Stomp Dance - Brulé Daaaaaaamn it's really hot here right now. The boy, on suggestion, has stayed over. We got a second controller (yay!) so we've been playing SSBM and some 2-player ToSymph with teh mad combos. It's fun. Anyway, changed zee desktop. This one's so lovely, I'm so proud of myself for making it right and not overdoing it. I think that tends to be my problem, I'd rather have "full" wallpapers than empty looking ones, but I end up crowding them and they look sloppy. o_O; Anyway this one's all neat n' pretty ^_^ I also made this one yesterday, but I didn't put it up yet, so I'll just put the thumbnail here for y'all to squint at XD. It's so prettyful, and I want to make millions and millions of layouts. Yet I have no scanner... ¬__¬; SO. If you out there with the lots of money would like to donate a scanner to me, firewire compatible, works with a newish Mac, please contact me. It's great how once you play RPGs enough, you get the plot twists without even being prompted. Ah, I love RPGing. I wish to be an RPGer all my life. Long live teh RPGs! Yeah, just a little update. I'm looking for the song "Rain" by Dana Glover (I think). It's also spelled "Rayne", so that confuses me a bit... I did manage to find "And I Love Her" by the Beatles, ah, I love the Beatles. while listening to: the boy talking So the boy's over here to abuse my GCN... er, rather my GCN controllers. Tales of Symphonia came out yesterday. Yesterday we went into the city for Red's bday, it was awesomely cool, but we had to walk pretty much everywhere, so my feet hurt like a bitch yesterday when I got home, and I think I walked my hip outta its socket o_O Yow. Anyway, she had a great time, which was the idea, and Nat ended up giving her a Tiffany's necklace that she wanted but he didn't even know she wanted. Pretty nice, eh? That's boyfriend points right there. Uh, so yeah. Anyway. Oh, get this. While we were in the city, we passed an EB Games. So I went in and asked about ToSymphonia, and at the city's EB, when you preordered the game you got both the lithograph AND the artbook, right then. We (the boy and I) didn't get a litho at our EB because they were "out". And he didn't get an artbook yesterday, either, because there was a "shipping error". Riiiiiight. If they don't give me... well, technically it's the boy's but I'm going to be using it more (scans, people, large quality scans.), I'm seriously going to storm in and demand it, and beat up the general manager if he doesn't give it to me. Yeah. That'll show him. Ok, well I need to eat something now, I'm starved. Then off to watch the PWNSOME ANIME OPENING of ToSymphonia.

while listening to: A View From Above - TOKIO Dammit, two things happened that have happened before. One was that I selected all and went to the bottom of my html blogging doc, which I always do. Gets annoying. The other thing is that the damn blog doc got too big again (guess I'm blogging more than usual?), so now this is normal shows-up-on-main-page blog, and there's BLOG PART 2 CONTINUED down below. Or that link, either one. Today's been... an interesting day. I really wish I had a bf like Nat, because I called him and he went off on how he would spend any amount of money on Red's gift (and I was all AWWW) and he has a plan now to get an expensive necklace and hide it in some roses for her (and I was all AWWWWW!), and then I got off the phone and I was all sniffle sniffle I have no boyfriend mode. So, I did what I usually do to cheer up, go shopping.
Shopping today = disaster. First, nothing's on sale. Second, even if things WERE on sale, nothing fit me today. Guys reading this may be like WHUUH? but girls reading know that some days stuff fits, other days it doesn't. Well, today was a doesn't-day, so I got all mopey and got to thinking I need to diet, yada yada, and started complaining to everybody I could, really, about how I was fat and nothing fit me. Well, I'm not fat, but stuff doesn't fit me because (1) I had a bad shopping day and (2) because I try on stuff that I shouldn't even expect to fit me, because I actually have hips, God forbid. ;P
So, then I get home, decide I'm going to order some pizza and snuggle down to watch a good, classic movie, something along the lines of Star Wars, either New Hope or RotJ. I realize the pizza place is closed, I've missed about 20 calls on my cell because it's fritzing (one of which from my sis), and I can't find the movies I want to watch. I figure, I'll get online and see what's going on, maybe that will calm me down a bit.
Online, three people joined fanlistings. One= No code at all. Another= Made a code (I get touchy when people step over my graphic skillz, ok?) and was a main.html-page-linker. Third= Made a code. IS THIS THE DAY TO SHUN SORA'S CODE MAKING SKILLS OR SOMETHING?!? DID YOU NOT LIKE THE CODES THAT WERE THERE?! WAS THERE NOT ENOUGH VARIETY FOR YOU TO CHOOSE FROM?!?!?! And then my brother called me to complain, then the blog was too long, and somewhere around now I'm seriously about to lose an eyeball since my eye is twitching so much. BREATHE... slow deep breaths... I think I might play some more AWL. Perhaps I may level up some more in mutation before we actually get outbreak. I could also make Red her CD, part of her gift. And then I could make some more bracelets/necklaces, I made some last night that were rather prettyful. There, all activities I know I CAN do that don't seem stressful, really. Thank thee, blog and blog readers, for bearing through this experience with me. Off to de-stress, relax, breathe and engage in some other stressless activities of the like.
