Whoa, did he just rhyme shoulder with soda? o_O Progress on the Yaki information central is excellent. In the past 2 days, we've finished the image gallery, manga, anime, links, music, complete profiles (and a drop-down tree menu to boot!) as well as the very first, most comprehensive dictionary of Japan (the bread) you'll be able to find. The only thing we have left to do is fill in the story summaries... which will hopefully be done in the next 2 days. I mean, there is a lot to the story... especially the Monaco Cup arc, so we'll work hard and get it finished and up as soon as we can ^_^ It's so prettyful though, I lurrrrrve my layout XD Ah, Big Pimpin' is on. I don't have the season 2 one yet *tear* The reason for teh bloggy: I was approved for and finished up the Star Ocean EX fanlisting. So go visit and joiny joiny. Also got ambitious and redid every single code for Perseverance and BLS, including a set of 50x50 codes for Perseverance that include every playable character. Yup. So you can always have a code with your favorite character on it. Yay. Gonna go find something to snack on now... maybe go play some MPT. Then wait around until good old-fashioned Christmas specials come on ABC @ 7 and Home Alone 2 @ 8 XD Did I mention I love Christmas? YO, Domo, get those Christmas vs. Halloween fights up. Got approvelled for both the HELLO (YAY!!) and Words of Love fanlistings today XD XD XD Today's like the polar opposite of yesterday, which really kind of... sucked ^_^; Well, the beginning, anyway. At the end I splurged and bought the boy a new game, and the guy at Target hit on me, and then the guy at Toys R Us (yes, we had to find the game there) hit on me... and it was somewhat disturbing, but pretty damn humorous, heh. And I got in some flirting practice, which I haven't had for awhile, so it's good to know I can still do it well XD Ermmm.... oh yeah, and later tonight's the early holiday liturgy, which I love, because it's pretty and candlelit and Christmas-y! ^_^ Of course, since we've apparently hit an all time low out here for temperatures, at around 11 tonight it'll probably be a grand total of something like -10 degress outside (and consequently inside the church, since there seems to be no heater in that place and they leave the doors open -_-) but... I'll deal. I have my nice new Hyde-goes-Matrix jacket to keep me warm. ^_^ Heehee. Gonna go work with Hyde pics to make layouts XD Could this BE a better layout option for me? while listening to: It's Going Down - X-ecutioners & Linkin Park New desktop, featuring a vector that I've been working on since... well, almost 6 in the evening yesterday ^_^; Granted I slept, but at 9 this morning I was up and working on it again... so it's a roughly 5-hour vector + wallpaper. In case you can't tell (which you probably can't, since I had to make the thumbnail so damn small) each panel features a Bleach character that I vector-outlined and then fussed with to make them look like they're all in an iPod commercial. Complete with iPods, of course. If you feel the need to know, the characters are as follows: (top to bottom, left to right):
Ichigo, Tatsuki, Rukia, Ishida.
Ishida 2, Ichigo 2, Orihime, Byakuya.
Chad, Renji, Chad 2, Ichigo 3. Yes, lots of Ichigo, Chad, Ishida. There would have been Urahara, but I didn't have a decent picture of him and didn't want to search through my many many manga folders to find one of him full body with hat. So... yeah. Very proud of my Ichigo-vects, the Tatsuki-bandaid, and all the Chad, because his hair's so pretty curly but it took forever to vector each little piece ^_^ Also love the Renji because he looks TEH homie, and the Byakuya, because he fits strangely well with his iPod. XD Ok, need food now or will pass out. Too much vector... well, doesn't really exist, but if it did I'd be getting pretty close to it now.

I will singlehandedly hunt down everyone in the world with type Bombay blood for a blood transfusion! HURRY damn you, people with Bombay blood! Pierrot and the King need to be saved!! There can be no further competition without Pierrot! DAMMIT, why do these things happen? First I'm cut off from BECK, where things are happening but not happening, and my Bleach eppy 8 is taking sooooo darn long (plus it's a continuation episode), and now when I finally get more Yakite, Pierrot goes from prison to critical condition in a hospital / heaven and doesn't want to see his parents any more since he thinks they don't care about him at all, and the king does care but didn't realize until he needed the blood, so I suppose the needing the blood is a good thing because otherwise Pierrot might never have found his parents, but even if he found his parents what good does it do to everybody else waiting in Monaco if Pierrot and the king are dead, and who will judge the final bread battle with Azuma and Shadow who is supposed to be really really good if Pierrot is dead, because Kuroyan can't do it and he's not getting enough manga-air-time as is (if there is such a thing) and the manager's fro is starting to get too big and kinda scary, and Monika is really pissing me off, because there was a time she was kind of cute, but now she's just bugging Suwabara and that pisses me off, plus Pierrot-kun's in the hospital, have I mentioned that yet? And I better go before I create any more run-on sentences. Gonna read the Bleach manga, do the Feeling Fine layout since the Heaven's Drive fanlisting is finished and up already.

The Vector That Took 6 Hours To Complete

while listening to: Plasmagic - Aucifer Whee~~! (This will be one looong paragraph. Brace yourselves.) So, I mentioned how I wasn't completely satisfied with the other Ryo vector... and how I would either fix it up or make a new one. So VIOLA, here it is, in desktop form! Well, thumbnail desktop form technically. In any case, it took me 6+ hours to finish... yes, while that may not seem too long, I worked for 6 hours STRAIGHT. Without drinking, standing, moving very much. I completely redrew the outlines (so now I have a wicked cool Ryo outline black-and-white PSD of my very own) and then drew the eyes (which are very important- my Ryo-kun's got frick-ass-tastic wonderous baby blues!), and then colored everything. That was technically the end of the vector part... but then I had to play around with textures and fillers, since I wanted to create a stained-glass texture effect like I saw on a Count of Monte Cristo anime poster thingy. So I screwed around with rendering clouds in the right colors on the right layers, which came out cool but wasn't exactly what I wanted, and then tried texture fills, which just looked strange, and then finally I came across an old flame background that I drew in Photoshop forever ago, and used it on the red and gold in the armor with a lighting overlay on the gold and color burned into the red, and got the effect that I loved for a wallpaper. Of course, then there was the making of the background with the stars and all, and then the fixing of the sword so that it was partially see-through... (which I think ROCKS XD) and THEN I had to make it wallpaper-sized, add the lines around it to frame it and slap on the text, and THAT, ladies and gents, is how to make a wallpaper. Uh-huh. How it SHOULD be done. This is how Sora does it, how Stardrop Studios does it. Behold the... achiness that is my left shoulder from not moving for so long. ^_^; Gonna go sigh over how bish Ryo is and watch Bleach eppy 4 now. Catch you all... next time ^_^

Addition @ 12:00 - I am teh sad that there is no current "official" Kakashi fanlisting. I only found one, and that was last updated in... July... o_O I would apply... but I'm sure since the animanga c&i depo over at TAFL is catching up, SOMEBODY must have applied for it and'll get it... I supposed I just have to wait... ;_; But we LOOOVE Kakashi! He really is rip-roarin' kickass cool. Kinda like Ichigo. And Chado. Ah, I love Kashi, Ichi, and Chado. Whee~!

while listening to: Winding Road - Garden State OST Manga shouldn't affect me this much... ask the boy, I just spent an exorbitant amount of time (1) watching Burichi eppy 8 and weeping over it (sooo sad ;___;) and then reading on in the Burichi manga and weeping even more.... DAMN YOU ISSHIN! He made me seriously cry like a baby... damnit, I'm a momma's girl ;_; And I'm freakishly like Ichigo-kun... so I couldn't help it. Well, most like a perfect mix of Ichi & Chado... I can't help it if I love cute things. Yeah... have a mini-headache... damn, this same headache has been with me for like... almost 3 days now? -_-; Nrgh, must kill it. Other news... very happy that Domo's finally reading the Yaki manga. He will know the JOY, damn it. The JOY! Well, until he gets to the end and Pierrot-kun's in the hospital... ;___; *goes to weep again* I think I'm emotionally unstable for some reason today. Maybe I should go back to sleep o_O

while listening to: Heaven's Drive - Laruku NOOOOOOoooooOOOO! My Pierrot-kun is in critical condition in the hospital from blood loss, as is his father!! I will singlehandedly hunt down everyone in the world with type Bombay blood for a blood transfusion! HURRY damn you, people with Bombay blood! Pierrot and the King need to be saved!! There can be no further competition without Pierrot! DAMMIT, why do these things happen? First I'm cut off from BECK, where things are happening but not happening, and my Bleach eppy 8 is taking sooooo darn long (plus it's a continuation episode), and now when I finally get more Yakite, Pierrot goes from prison to critical condition in a hospital / heaven and doesn't want to see his parents any more since he thinks they don't care about him at all, and the king does care but didn't realize until he needed the blood, so I suppose the needing the blood is a good thing because otherwise Pierrot might never have found his parents, but even if he found his parents what good does it do to everybody else waiting in Monaco if Pierrot and the king are dead, and who will judge the final bread battle with Azuma and Shadow who is supposed to be really really good if Pierrot is dead, because Kuroyan can't do it and he's not getting enough manga-air-time as is (if there is such a thing) and the manager's fro is starting to get too big and kinda scary, and Monika is really pissing me off, because there was a time she was kind of cute, but now she's just bugging Suwabara and that pisses me off, plus Pierrot-kun's in the hospital, have I mentioned that yet? And I better go before I create any more run-on sentences. Gonna read the Bleach manga, do the Feeling Fine layout since the Heaven's Drive fanlisting is finished and up already.

while listening to: Plasmagic - Aucifer Whee~~! (This will be one looong paragraph. Brace yourselves.) So, I mentioned how I wasn't completely satisfied with the other Ryo vector... and how I would either fix it up or make a new one. So VIOLA, here it is, in desktop form! Well, thumbnail desktop form technically. In any case, it took me 6+ hours to finish... yes, while that may not seem too long, I worked for 6 hours STRAIGHT. Without drinking, standing, moving very much. I completely redrew the outlines (so now I have a wicked cool Ryo outline black-and-white PSD of my very own) and then drew the eyes (which are very important- my Ryo-kun's got frick-ass-tastic wonderous baby blues!), and then colored everything. That was technically the end of the vector part... but then I had to play around with textures and fillers, since I wanted to create a stained-glass texture effect like I saw on a Count of Monte Cristo anime poster thingy. So I screwed around with rendering clouds in the right colors on the right layers, which came out cool but wasn't exactly what I wanted, and then tried texture fills, which just looked strange, and then finally I came across an old flame background that I drew in Photoshop forever ago, and used it on the red and gold in the armor with a lighting overlay on the gold and color burned into the red, and got the effect that I loved for a wallpaper. Of course, then there was the making of the background with the stars and all, and then the fixing of the sword so that it was partially see-through... (which I think ROCKS XD) and THEN I had to make it wallpaper-sized, add the lines around it to frame it and slap on the text, and THAT, ladies and gents, is how to make a wallpaper. Uh-huh. How it SHOULD be done. This is how Sora does it, how Stardrop Studios does it. Behold the... achiness that is my left shoulder from not moving for so long. ^_^; Gonna go sigh over how bish Ryo is and watch Bleach eppy 4 now. Catch you all... next time ^_^
