I know it's almost 4am, but I just finished a clean-up job in Photoshop that I'm very very proud... and will almost certainly be either (1) a new wallpaper for me or (2) a layout for something in the near future. Though I'm not going to post it at full size, here it is at 33%. Left image is what I started with, right image is what I just spent about 2 hours editing XD

Waiting for my pork chops (aka PolkChoppu) to finish cooking at the moment. Watched Bleach 11 while I was waiting, Ishida's so funny and showoff-ish XD (I like him, I'm funny and showoff-ish too, hehe). Gonna watch 12 tomorrow, probably (er, later today) and see my Yasu-kun ^__^ I've already seen it raw, but it's nice to actually fully understand what they're saying. I need to learn more Japanese, I suppose ^_^;

FINALLY set up my new external DVD drive today (we had some Firewire confusion before about it, but thankfully that's all fixed) and actually watched a DVD on my computer for the first time in... possibly a year o_O I watched the first YST DVD, of course, and took some great screencaps of Ryo-kun and used some of them for a new layout for Wildfire that went up earlier. So yay for that! XD

Other news isn't very interesting... still waiting on when my dear little niece decides it's time to meet the world... still waiting for school to start again... still waiting on my Bleach7 app status. I did cut my hair and give myself bangs, though, and they look sooooo cute, I'm thrilled ^__^ XD And I decided to learn guitar better ("better" being a relative term, since I can really only play 4 chords). Finally I decided on my confirmation name(s) (2 names, one of which is Yasubara - "gentle rose" - how cool is that?!) that I absolutely adore and I think reflect both my personality and talents well.

Ok, well food's finally ready (yeah, I know, 12:30 in the morning and I'm having late dinner ^_^; What I can I say, I'm definitely not the norm XD) so I shall away... matta ne ^_^

Happy new year, everybody! 2005 has dawned upon us, and I'm more excited this year than I have been for a couple years... not sure why ^_^; For one, I have a tradition of shouting "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" out my front door at the top of my lungs every year at exactly midnight, and ever since... something like 6 years ago, I think, I've been answered by the same guy who lives further down in my complex. So, I was hoping he'd be here this year to answer me too, which he was XD So I was very happy about that. The other thing that I think I'm happy about is that I'm positive I won't be staying here for the entirety of this year... making 2004 the last full year I spend in this little place. Which (if you know me) exhilarates me beyond belief, because I'm quite sick of this locale ^_^;

Well, anyway, these are the first minutes of the new year... I need to start signing pictures I draw with "2005" now, remember to write "05" on fanlisting dates, and figure out places on my walls to put my Bleach calendar pictures after the months have passed by ^_^ Heehee. In any case, I hope 2005 treats us all well, gives us new experiences that challenge us, and may we all meet the challenges with vigor and enthusiasm, eager to know more and get the very most out of the time given to us. ^_^

Yes, it's happened... it's quite stormy around here at the moment (not anything like the tsunamis, but stormy nonetheless) and somehow, some way, for some reason... my internet's out. So I'm dry-typing this locally now and will upload it.... whenever the internet comes back. But as of the moment, I'm without GameFAQs, TFL/TAFL, Lunar's Bleach Subs (BOTH episodes 11 & 12, since I lost the connection I had to them ;_;), Bleach7, and email. This is all too much for a tech-savvy youngster like me. "I can't live without my internet!" you expect me to cry out, waving my arms wildly in the air as if they could assist me in trudging through the deep and murky waters of the ocean that is the internet. (Man, that was a great sentence. Anyway.) But no, for I am not that far gone... I still have Skies of Arcadia to keep me busy until I go out to dinner. So nyaah.

So, it's 2 in the morning, and I'm sitting here, scanning Hardy Boys covers on my brand new scanner (note: Christmas gift, whee) and scanning pictures that I've been doodling and random pictures of me that I found (good pictures of me, liek OMGwtfBBQ) and waiting for a bake-at-home pizza (yes, DiGiorno) to finish... well, baking at home. It's all very homely and comfortable. I'll now give you a quick list of the Christmas: scanner, DVD drive, new clothes, new purse, RotK EE DVDs, iPod Griffin, two new games (GCN, whee again). And there it is, hooray hooray.

Saturday's the new year... really? Wow O_O So much is going to happen in 2005, it'll be exciting. I'm looking forward to everything new this year will bring me ^__^ Experiences, people, places, everything! Bring it on, new year, I'm in a Vyse-like mood where I'm ready to get beyond that sunset and push myself every day to meet new experiences!

Twas the day before Christmas

I originally wrote a poem here (yes, it was a rip-off of a Night Before Christmas), but it was too clever, so I just saved it. It was funny, I'll tell you that much.

Realized I never informed you that Neo-Dynasty has a new layout up. It's more Ichigo. But it's special, because I colored it myself, and I'm very proud of it. <3

Also realized that I never mentioned that I colored the Yasu-kun shiji-wallpaper myself, which I am also very proud of. *squee* Yasu-kun <3

And... there was something else I was going to mention that I forgot about. Ah well, it's Christmas Eve Day! XD I'm so very excited about tomorrow. Strangely enough, I feel more excited about watching people get the gifts I got for them than actually getting gifts myself... but I'm so happy I could get everybody the things I wanted to this year, I can't help but anticipate their reactions ^_^

I shall away now to put away things and otherwise fix stuff up. Oh yeah, the last package I was waiting for (the one that was scheduled to come at ~8pm tonight) arrived yesterday, so I'm finished with wrapping and waiting. Well, there technically are two more things that I'm waiting for that I got for the boy, but they won't ship until after Christmas, so at least for Christmas "Day" presents, I'm finished. ^_^;

Erg, I was in such a bad mood yesterday, I didn't squee enough about Yasu. So, I squee now XD *squees with joy*

It was so cold when I woke up.... I turned on every heating device I could find, and even that didn't help very much (probably because they took so long to get going), so I went back to my bed and wrapped myself in all 3 blankets that I had on it o_o Ended up dozing for a couple minutes, hee. Anyway.

It's almost Christmas! O_O And I'm still waiting on some of the boy's gifts to arrive via UPS... Well, they're scheduled to arrive tomorrow. So they better arrive tomorrow. Hear me, UPS? They better arrive tomorrow. We always get the same guy, so I know who to blame. And I... well, I have no clue where he lives, but I know where you work!!

In other news... I'm rather hungry. *squee* Gomen, looked over at my desktop again XD Boku wa... hopeless fangirl, ne?

Also progressed through another lesson in my Japanese yesterday, which is good because I hadn't done any in like.. a month? Ano... watashi wa Nihon-go ga wakarimasu... demo mada jozu ja'arimasen ^__^ I don't know if I spelled it all correctly (jarimasen? ja arimasen?) but HEY! I can speak sentences in Japanese in a basic conversation! XD Ii otenki desu, ne?

Ungh... I'm in so much pain from skating yesterday, I must be in worse shape than I though ^_^; No, I think I just overdid it, and my body's definately not used to doing what skating requires, seeing as how I never did it before. o_O

Called up Nate today, it was so great to talk to him, since I haven't seen him since... August? o_o Lonnnnng time. We made plans for next week, which is fabu! But it also means I have to get him a Christmas present AND a birthday present (since that's Friday, I think) and I have NO clue what to get him... I just can't shop for guys who aren't related to me or boyfriends I s'pose. o_O

Lunch and the movie today was really fun! We saw Finding Neverland, which is a REALLY good movie, I highly suggest you see it if you haven't and (1) like Peter Pan (2) like Johnny Depp or (3) like really good acting. It was seriously a very well done movie, and I loved all the little magical bits in it, though I cried several times (hey, I'm an emotional person, what can I say?), but it's JDepp with another accent... mmmm XD Sister's so round in the belly now, hehe. I really can't wait to be an aunt! It's so exciting ^_^ Anywho, after the movie Red and I went shopping and I bought new eyeshadow and some cute shirts (yes, more shopping for myself)... so finally I'm home, exhausted, achey, and hungry, but happy and contented ^_^

Good news is that UPS delivered two more gifts today... including my sister's, so now hers is complete along with mum, pop, and Red. Now I just need to wait for the other 4/6ths of the boy's gifts to show up (2 of them are scheduled to arrive on the 24th... and our UPS guy doesn't come until 7:30 generally o_O That's cutting it a *little* close, ne?), shop for the BiL and Nate, and THEN I'm good... unless I'm forgetting someone, which I hope I'm not ;_;

Okey dokey then. Off to... do something. Probably giftwrap, if I can find some and muster the energy to XD

I felt so very wintery and Christmas-y today ^_^ Ru came and picked me up and we went to lunch, and then I surprised him by taking him ice-skating (mind you I had never been skating before that I remembered in my life) and it was so much fun!! I didn't fall at all (I'm so proud of that fact) and I felt all wintery since I had on my long wool coat, my pretty new silky scarf, and had curled my hair this morning, it was so very Rockefeller Center in NY moment XD It was just cool, and a fun way to spend time since we always really do the same stuff (i.e. eat, minigolf, movies). So yay for trying something new!

Almost done with Christmas shopping... well, technically all of the shopping is finished, now I just need to wait for everything that I ordered online to arrive... including my BLEACH 2005 CALENDAR that's already on its way that I ordered for myself. XD XD XD I'm so so so very excited for that calendar... really, it's almost rediculous. My hopes for a scanner for Christmas are skyrocketing even as I think of that precious calendar. SO MANY LAYOUT POSSIBILITES o_o

Tomorrow's my day out with the gals, and it will be really nice. We're doing lunch and a movie, and then after I'm gonna go with Red to the mall since she wants to buy a Mac gift certificate and I want new eyeshadow ^_^ Hey, I buy things for myself too, tis the season and all that ^_-

Have I mentioned that I really love this layout? Well, all layouts I do I either really love or don't love enough, and the ones I don't love enough don't get put up at all, so... yeah. It's new. It's zanpakutou-eriffic. It's.... just plain cool, so fear the new layout. It's Bleach. What else could I possibly do? *grin*

New things to notice: navigation is now to the right, on the new "menu bar" thingymabob. New title spiffy things for the blog "name" and date/music/mood, and new little gifs for the music (it's a note) and mood (it's a heart). And desktop will be on this page only, since I'm too lazy to do much more. And I get my own page now, via "the girl" section over there.

Aaannd.... well, applied for a graphics jobby-thing today, we'll see if it works out. Even if not, it was fun to do (I got to clean manga scans! Hee!) and I think I did a pretty good job anyway. Also watched BECK 9 (I think they drew Maho differently in this episode... besides the fact she was in a swimsuit. Also Koyuki looks so cute with his swim cap on, heehee ^_^) and re-watched the first eppy of Champloo, because I'm giving Ru a CD with it for Christmas (if you're reading this Ru, you're spoiling your own gift! Tsk tsk!) and I loved reliving how much it rocked... like, a lot XD
