Saku
  is a student at the same junior high school as Koyuki (later accompanying him again at the same high school) and the last member to join BECK. After gaining Taira as their bassist, BECK seems to be a promising band. However, they run into a rut when their drummer, who Ryusuke had brought from Serial Mama, leaves. Lucky for them, Koyuki's new friend Saku has been drumming for a while, following in the footsteps of his older brother (now turned pro baseball player). While still young at heart like Koyuki, he has a sense of overall calmness and knowledge alike Taira. Besides this, he's also a bit like Chiba in that he can hold his own in a fight, as seen a few times throughout the manga. When not performing, he enjoys percussion magazines and his favorite bands include DyBree and Baum Kuhen.

Saku is perhaps the best mix of the band members, usually keeping a calm demeanor alike Taira, showing promise in his fighting capabilities like Chiba, while still being one of the younger kids with Koyuki. Another note worth mentioning is that he also undergoes Saito's grueling swim training, which has got to be worth something.

In the anime adaptation, Saku is portayed by Tooru Nara. Saku is played by Aoi Nakamura in the live-action movie.
