- Japan #1
  * AKA: Soymilk Pan
  * Bread made with soymilk (rather than regular milk) to make it go well with natto.
  * Created for Grandfather Umatarou to convince him to have toast for breakfast (Volume 1, chapter 1)
  * Bread Reaction: Umatarou- various reactions including some random karate and surfing on soymilk.

- Japan #2
  * AKA: Suihanjapan
  * Bread cooked in a suihanja (rice cooker), that clings together like soft rice and can be fully-cooked only at 110 degrees due to the suihanja's shape.
  * Created for a young boy who is unable to have Japan #57 because he gets there too late (Volume 2, chapter 13)
  * Bread Reaction: Kawachi- head rises out of suihanja.

- Japan #3
  * AKA: Microwave Japan
  * Made in a microwave, accounts for very quick cooking time (40 minutes). With goma (sesame).
  * Created during the third battle in the Monaco cup, the speed battle. (Volume 9, chapters 71-72.)
  * Bread Reaction: Pierrot- flashback to Pierrot being told a story about a woman who killed her cat by trying to microwave it dry after a bath. Because of the story, when Quedam performed in Vegas, they put up warnings about their tricks so they wouldn't be sued. Pierrot was constantly worried, and therefore hates microwaves. Tie-in: microwaves. (Saved by Shachihoko, who tells Pierrot that the microwave-cat story is an urban legend.)

- Japan #8
  * AKA: The King Turtle of Bread
  * Baked green, using starch syrup and the "chouteionchoujikan" baking method (baking at a lower temperature of 150 degrees Celcius for a longer period of time)
  * Created for the Newcomer's Battle third round against Koala (Volume 4, chapter 32-Volume 5, chapters 33-34)
  * Bread Reaction: Deebu- unleashes a warcry that ranks 225 on the Deebu scale; Kuroyanagi- breaks free from the chains on the ceiling (from Koala's bread reaction) and starts spinning around ala King of the Turtles, Space Monster Gamera! (© of the Daiei motion picture company)

- Japan #9
  * AKA: Taiyaki Japan
  * Bread filled with an "an" made with potatoes and sap from palm trees.
  * Created during the fourth battle in the Monaco cup, the desert island battle. (Volume 9, chapters 76-77.)
  * Bread Reaction: Pierrot- flashback to after the Las Vegas show, when Quedam is invited back to France to perform in an Opera House in Paris. Pierrot practiced so much that he pulled every muscle in his body and was wheelchair-bound. Then Kid, a massuer, showed up and healed him through Thai Shiki (Thai method). Tie-in: Thai Shiki = Tai Shiki = Taiyaki. (You could call it the Thai-in.... nevermind.)

- Japan #16
  * AKA: Mount Fuji
  * Doesn't rise, can be cooked quickly; is actually the Indian bread "nan" (made with flour, milk, oil, yogurt, salt, and sugar), in shape of Mount Fuji
  * Created for the first stage of the Pantasia hiring examination, after Japan #53 doesn't work out (Volume 1, chapters 2-3.)
  * Bread Reaction: Kuroyanagi- is overcome with a curry craving.

- Japan #21
  * AKA: Castilla Japan (Kasutera)
  * Made with only eggs and flour (the flour is Budding Crude Wheat flour). No salt or sugar is used.
  * Created during the first battle of the Monaco Cup, when the ingredients are decided by roulette. (Volume 8, chapters 62-63.)
  * Bread Reaction: Pierrot- flashback to how Pierrot was found, became part of the Quedam Circus, and learned his duplication trick. The tie-in: he learned the duplication trick after watching a Castilla commercial.
