Short summary: Azuma Kazuma, a young boy with Solar Hands (hands that are naturally warm) sets off from his home to follow his dream of making
Japan, a bread that will represent Japan and that the Japanese people will like as much (or more) than rice. Along the way he meets a bunch of new friends, encounters loads of problems, and, of course, makes a lot of bread.

The first section follows the beginning of the story (when Azuma leaves home) up to the Pantasia Newcomer's Battle (that would roughly be Vol.1 Ch.1 - Vol.2 Ch.14).
The second is the Newcomer's Battle until the crew leaves for Monaco (roughly Vol.2 Ch.15 - Vol.7 Ch.55).
The third is the Monaco Cup arc (Vol.7 Ch.56 - Vol.14 Ch.123).
And the fourth is the Yakitate!! 25 arc (Vol.15 Ch.124 - present).
