As time goes on for Pierrot, he worries about his mother, who has gotten fat due to her understanding that an expectant mother needs to eat a lot for her baby. Pierrot realizes that this is why she dies during childbirth, and tricks her into becoming thin and healthy again by saying that he can hear the baby's wishes, and that the baby wishes for a young and beautiful mother. The Queen does so, and all is well. Several weeks later, there is a grand party, and the Queen comes to visit Pierrot, asking him to stay with them since he is so helpful and they have grown to love him. Pierrot, sadly, says he cannot stay (as he realizes the Cannabis Japan is wearing off and he is becoming transluscent), so the Queen gives him a special ring and asks him to stay until the baby is born. Then, outside in the hallway, suddenly her water breaks! Pierrot calls for help, but everyone has drunk themselves to sleep! Pierrot takes it upon himself to carry his mother to the hospital, and is well on his way until his legs become transluscent and he cannot run any longer. He cries, thinking that he couldn't even save his mother, and disappears finally, only to come back to the present crying that his mother is dead. But what's this? Prince Leol is admonished by the Queen of Monaco, alive and well, for being so un-Pierron, after all it was that brave clown who was their friend and aide all those years ago! That's right, the King and Queen are both alive thanks to Azuma's Cannabis Japan, although since the past is screwed up now, Azuma can't for the life of him remember how or why he tried so hard to make a great bread for Pierrot. Pierrot, only slightly confused, states that he will announce the winner... Azuma Kazuma! Team Japan has won the Monaco Cup!
Shadow, naturally, is miffed and confused- how could Azuma's Japan best his Gopan?! The answer comes from an unexpected source- Yuuichi Kirisaki! Kirisaki explains that Azuma not only hand prepared all of his own ingredients (grinding the seeds, making the oil) while Shadow used pre-made products (Rice Dream, black tea), but Azuma put more thought and effort into the entire thing, making his donut the ultimate donut. Kirisaki offers his hand to Azuma, but Azuma refuses it. Kawachi is confused as to why Kirisaki has such a good attitude about all this- the Manager explains that as the head of St. Pierre's, Kirisaki must have good attitudes in public no matter what, to make people think at least that he is a good person. Anyway, they don't have time to worry about Kirisaki now- they have to celebrate their victory!
So Team Japan has won a whole lot of money, gets to keep their store open, victory over Kirisaki, etcetera etcetera. Right? Nope! During celebrations, Monika comes to hit on Suwabara some more, and Kawachi gets angry, stating that their teams are enemies and that they shouldn't mingle. Monika's confused- they're on the same side! But she says that starts the next week... since Pantasia and St. Pierre's are merging! So allow us to quote the Yakitate!! Japan reaction line: WHAT?!
